Polity and Globalization

Polity and Globalization

A polity is a human society, politically organized as a State. Globalization is a term popular more in the context of Economic and Commerce areas. Recent innovations and intrusions into human consciousness can no longer limit the terms to their literal meanings.

The Earth Globe is one in round. We see many parts of land and sea thereon. That this earth globe is a part of a huge solar system and it has interconnections with other globes in the…

Societal Stature

The pivotal points of the stature of a human society are a) gain b) achievement and c) success. Individuals have created a society by grouping themselves together for purposes of gain, but this did not bring any gain whatsoever in terms of real unity. We create a society to which we ultimately become slaves. A clear understanding of the values liberates us from the social, religious machine and its conventional working systems.  We, as Individuals, are born…

Blissful State

What is Blissful state and is it possible to attain such a state?

Being happy is the birth right of every creature. Being Independent, having a free choice and to act in a line appealing to oneself is similarly the birth right. For various reasons, we have imposed certain constraints and restraints to our activity and behavior. These have become necessary that one’s…

Human Life

Human Life:

by Dr N C Ramanujachary

Human life is an admixture of happiness and sorrow. Every living person wants to be happy. Each person defines happiness in his or her own way and by experimentation; exploration finds a way to happiness. Sorrow is attempted to be totally eradicated but it reoccurs through some other door or window of life. Everything in life is in a passing stage. Even when sorrow is set aside…

A Philosopher

A PHILOSOPHER

Dr. N C Ramanujachary

A Philosopher’s endeavor is basically to work for the Perfection of Humanity. He does this by his oration, sets a role-model by his own conduct to the audiences he comes into contact. He is normally a well-informed person on the Laws that govern the Universe, their working systems and how men and women of the world could modulate their own methods of working in relation to…

Spontaneous Inspiration - Its place in spiritual matters

EO in his foot note on last page of the Eliphas Levi’s Paradoxes of the Highest Science says:

Let your exact science, so proud of her achievements and discoveries, remember that the grandest hypotheses - I mean those that have now become facts and undeniable truths - have all been guessed, were the results of spontaneous inspiration (or intuition) - never those of…

Late White Lotus Day Meditation

Hi all,

I just wrote a blogpost on my Modern Theosophy Blog and not till I was finished did I notice it was the day after White Lotus. Here it is:

Theosophists must excuse me for once more butting in where I no longer have any business. I was thinking just now about where the Theosophical Movement went wrong. When did, in…

General Theosophy #67

“If, psychologically speaking, you do not have a ‘soul’ but, rather, merely the possibility to enSoul various types of contaminated ‘I-delusions,’ you should, therefore, in order to ‘survive’ in this lifetime and perhaps into the next as well, probably try to enSelf your-‘selves.’”—General Theosophy

Wisdom: Its various aspects in Human Living

Wisdom has an inexplicable and a 'difficult to explore' place in human understanding and living. Yet scholars, poets and creative artistes have found their own way of enjoying and the same time expressing it to others, the common folk too, in innumerable methods.

All the fine arts, not to speak of the sacred scriptural texts, are a clear illustration to this humane act. The manifestation of the…

Long Blog Posts - Some thoughts

In all online forums, frequently we come across long posts. Indeed it is understandable that complex ideas and situations need explanations which tend to end up as a long post.

Many who browse forums as well as on maillists, have limited amount of time to read and review posts and emails of interest. This is simply a factual matter since many have daytime jobs and they spend time on Internet after hours. Many tend to ignore long posts due to time constraints.

In the above…

The Biggest Gift

All knowledge must come from within. I could tell you this and that and you could listen but in the end you have to be cognizant of what I have told you, you must accept and practice your new-found knowledge, otherwise it is of waste. Wisdom is useless unless you can make practical use of it. You must life it, day in day out. Or you can just gloss over it. The biggest, single most idea I can plant in your head is that life is eternal i.e. death as we call it is a phase and moving from…

 Hi, friends!!!

I don't know why this kind of sentences come to me but they keep on comin'...

Priests don't understand life because their idea of God is too narrow, while scientists don't understand God because their idea of life is too narrow.

Divine Knowledge

Dr N C Ramanujachary

Divine Knowledge

Madame Blavatsky once remarked that ‘to gain the divine knowledge by a system of coaching and cramming is the ideal of the average beginner in occult study’, but the originators of the Theosophical Society refused ‘to encourage such false hopes’. She further asserts, one-hundredth (of the members of the TS) only has the correct idea of…
