Has anyone seen the movie 'Hearafter' produced by Clint Eastwood?
'Clint Eastwood and Matt Damon take a turn at tackling the world of life
after death with "Hereafter," a film that intertwines the lives of a medium, a French journalist who undergoes a near-death experience and a
London kid who's just lost his twin brother.'
I think it is timely that this movie will spark interest what happens in after life. Much talk has been going on for years about near death as well…

Many tax exempt organizations who did not keep up with the required 990 filings will lose their tax exempt status if required actions are not taken by 10/15. Losing tax exempt status will trigger a lot of unintended consequences, many of which would be expensive to fix. Expensive professional help would be needed and money wasted. IRS has published a list who are out of compliance and Joe Fulton posted a blog.
In recent years, congress has forced tax exempt organizations to make…

Share some wise words from Joy; or joyful words from the wise? We shouldn't look a truth-horse in the mouth! ;)
Joy Mills says in her article:
http://ning.it/b2h0GA
“In the truest sense, this is what it means to be a Theosophist, not simply a member of the Society, but an authentic Theosophist, a knower and a lover of wisdom, of truth, of beauty. It is to seek, to ask the really big questions, the central questions of human…

To say goodbye.
No, not to Theosophy, not by any means. But to the Adyar Society and probably to all organized Theosophy as well.
Over a year ago I saw a face of the society that I hoped that I would never see. And having seen it resolved to give myself another year to see if things would improve. They have not. All I see is infighting and nonsense about elections and finances and now the damned beach at Adyar. It fills me with horror.
When I was…

Integrative philosophy (2)
The next examples are rather complicated. The sciences involved are relatively young, and there is some unfamiliar terminology to study (unless one has biological, medical and organizational knowledge). For those who want to be able to follow this posting, it will be necessary to do a little study of anatomy and the functions of the human nervous system. It will also be necessary to study…

Introduction
In this series I will try to define my fourfold model of process a bit further, and study some examples or applications of this model. In case you haven't studied my previous blog postings on creation philosophy & psychology (1-5), now may be the time to review them.
Also, some basic knowledge of theosophy, as explained in my ebook (see…

My basic policy and that of Captain Theosophy might be summed up in General Theosophy #7: “Always be KINDER than your ARSENAL needs to be.”
Perhaps this needs to be mentioned at the outset because kindness to those who might be new prospects for meditation might mean that a little “unkindness” has to be…

FREE spirited students of Theosophy may be interested in more information concerning the writings of the young archeologist and historian D. M. Murdock, aka Acharya Sanning.
She is especially interesting when compared to the avowed mission of H. P. Blavatsky, to expose dogmatism and materialism in science and religion, (and Theosophy!)
HPB referred to her controversial "Lucifer" magazine as the Theosophical Movement's "combative manas."
"The personal God of…

In the previous blog posting we halted description at the stage of acting.
Assagioli’s stages end at this point, because he looks at the process moving from inside (will, imagination) to outside (steering of physical act).
There is however also the opposite direction: from outside to inside.
Knoope continues his description…

Theos-talk maillist at yahoo groups was founded on September 15, 2000 by Eldon Tucker and today it celebrates its 10th anniversary of founding. Ten years is a long time in Internet age and theos-talk has played a very important role in theosophical movement during this time because it is independent of all organizations. You can visit theos-talk at:

There are some issues regarding the discovery of SD owned by Einstein. I posted a msg on theos-talk, in order not to clutter the blog here. Here is the link to the msg:

Another player in the story of Einstein and his copy of SD, is Laudahn who brought the Jack Brown’s article in Ojai Valley News to the attention of John Algeo. It is not clear if Laudahn is still alive and if he is, may be he can help identify Jack Brown. Her is an excerpt from an article I found in the cyberspace.
“Mr. Laudahn …. . Retired since 1976 and currently a resident of the Theosophical…
