THE FLOWER OF LIFE and the UNIVERSAL MATHEMATICAL MATRIX are identical concepts

Sacred Geometry did not really interest me in all my years of research until recently because I saw no practical uses for it other than creating pretty pictures.  In the past in conducting my researches I called upon my cognitive abilities to create the diagrams I needed to explain myself.

My work on Dante Alighieri's La Divina Commedia had me conjuring up a 10 x 10 matrix: a commentary on the MONAD, which I would later come to call the…

General Theosophy #103

19 May: "Anniversary" of end of LTTE War

19 May 2009 was the official end of the Government of Sri Lanka-LTTE war, and my essay posted below reflects my understanding of events since. I post it on our Theosophy blog because Theosophists, in particular Col. Olcott had done much to revive the Buddhist institutions in Sri Lanka. He is still widely respected there for his work - a widely-used postage stamp is in his honor. However, the Buddhist monks that he helped to revive became key agents of a narrrow sectarian spirit against the…

Want Better Memory?

This is a re-post from The Singularity Hub's article (link to original).

If you do a lot of research like I do, sometimes it's a bit difficult remembering everything that you've studied the previous day. Science is showing that listening to sounds during sleep (background noise, white-noise, ambient sounds) can help memory! Good deal!…

Among the Stars (Poem)

Among the stars, there is written a story

of history's making and all its glory

As we gaze and look

and write mysteries in our book,

we realize the secret of one thing...

That we are but a spec, in the vast of nothing.

We look near and far

from the deepest ocean to the farthest star

examining the ordinary & the most bizarre

but we miss the fact and shall thus far

questioning life... until we know who we…

Welcome To My World

Firstly, I would like to thank Theosophy.net members for their very warm welcome and gentle encouragement to actually contribute something, ANYTHING, to the site.  There is so much "stuff" here that captures my attention, it really has been a wonderful experience so far.  I feel as though my brain has done a yoga workout, strengthening, lengthening and expanding so much that I'm not sure where…

General Theosophy #101

“If you start suspecting that you may have too many specific and complex details about karma, reincarnation, and other Theosophical subjects, consider the possibility that you could have strayed from the extraordinary Mountain Path of Intuitive Intimation and fallen into the ordinary Ditch of Wishful Academics.”—General Theosophy

Richard Ihle: Introduction to General Theosophy 1-100;

Introduction

General Theosophy will be the last religion left standing on Earth, of course.

Thomas Jefferson once wrote to John Adams [April 11, 1823], "The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as his father, in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter."

Ditto, probably eventually, for all the miraculous…

Thoughts out of Context

I'm teetering between selfish love and transcendental love.

I'm afraid.

I fear the direction I'm headed. I fear that all that I've ever known is about to be stripped away from me forever. What is the point of learning what we are inside, if the cost of this knowledge is eternal separation and alienation from what we once loved?

To be fair, I'm already separated from all the objects of my selfish love. Well, the one object. Forced to be separate from her. I've turned…

I saw a sign that read "Psychic Readings"

So I'm running around town running errands, I'm at a stop sign and then I see this place across the street.

The sign reads "Real Psychic Readings".

I started thinking, well is a REAL psychic person someone that has expansion of consciousness?

If consciousness is only self awareness then expanding that consciousness makes us aware of being aware…

April's full Moon, the Himalyayas, and Buddha perhaps manifesting.

I get this newsletter, which I highly recommend The Cosmic Calendar. Mark L. is very compassionate and friendly. Anyway, I thought folks might like to know what I read today. Click above for more, but this is what I wanted to share.

"Seekers of higher truth, knowledge and wisdom will be gearing up for the most illuminating of each year’s Full Moons when April 25 brings the…

Power of the New Spirituality (Book Review)

William Bloom

The Power of the New Spirituality

(Wheaton, IL: Quest Books, 2012)

William Bloom who combines a long-standing interest in New Age approaches to spirituality with an identity focus in international relations (1), has written “We are in changing times. Our culture and technology are continually transforming, and the intellectual certainties of the last few hundred years are no longer secure…It is our need to find a new authenticity in our…

AFFORDABILITY OF LIFE SAVING DRUGS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

A furore has been created by a recent Supreme Court Ruling on a patent application by NOVARTIS in India which was rejected by the court.

Evidence in a widely cited study by the National National Institute of Health Care Management in USA on Changing Patterns Of Pharmaceutical Innovation is telling between 1989 and 2000 the US food and Drug Authority approved 1,035 new drug applications - of these -

65% contained ingredients that were already active in the market (ie…

AN ANALYSIS OF THE EMOTION OF FEAR

Fear as an emotion dictates that it appear as a consequent or contingent upon some other pre existing conditions . Fear is an Emotion so it is general in nature . If we examine carefully ourselves we will find that we are Fearful because of something - underlying fear ie, if in meditation we sit down and analyze the word and its feeling and what in our consciousness it means we find that it it is attached to or accompanied by another proposition in tow. We fear death ,…

AN ASSAY INTO VIOLENCE

We are inclined  to call certain acts as violent  and others as peaceful . And then make judgements based on an incomplete understanding or partial and defective knowledge . The truth of a fact is that it is only in the Here and Now we experience things , or do acts or even think . Nobody does anything in the Past nor lives in the past or enjoys the past or nobody acts in the Future or enjoys in the future , for these are only conjectures and not realities - everything takes place in the…

EGYPT: The Gift of the Nile - A New Theory

I know that Egyptologists, academics and other intelligent people looking at the Egyptian culture and religious beliefs have a complete misunderstanding of what they are looking at.  I am an esoterist; therefore, I look at problems esoterically as well as exoterically.

My expertise lies in the study of the first chapter of Genesis esoterically: what this means is that every…

Reformed Vedic Calendar - based on Tropical (Sayana) Zodiac

'Today we are forced to celebrate all our fasts and festivals after over 23 days of their real Shastric prescribed time, and we continue to follow the wrong path over fourteen centuries. The Government of India’s 1952 Calendar Reforms Committee had recommended a seasonal calendar and also noted that “in continuing to follow the nirayana system, the Hindu…
