A pseudonymous author has in another Internet forum questioned certain dates in Jerry' intro. Theosophical circle is small and most of the active players know each other, at least on the Internet. Surely the man or woman who has been hiding under assumed name is someone we all know or even possibly is one of the members here.
If there are factual errors, why the writer did not choose to contact Jerry directly so that…

I attended the 135th International Convention in Adyar last week. Just a few comments:
1. The harmonious group in attendance was really wonderful. There were old and new faces that I got to meet and it was such a wonderful atmosphere of brotherhood. When people live together in Theosophy, a magic occurs that is hard to define but there is a different conciousness that one does not find in the regular day to day world.
2. There were many good talks and excellent…

Videos of 10th International Theosophical Congress is now On-line.
By live streaming of the 10th International Conference, Italian Section made it for the first time that everyone around the world can see what is going on in the congress. Due to time zone difference and other reasons, many would have missed many of the sessions. Now, the video recordings of the sessions are on-line and can be viewed by anyone with an…

Greetings to everyone from Theosophy.Net
2010 was an exciting year and we have accomplished much. Let's take a look at where we've been.
We have pursued a strategy of producing freely available core writings within the Theosophical tradition, including:

The Wisdom in Toons
First, an apologie if my english is not so correct-spelled as i wanted to. Thank God for the word-spelling editor.

A view has been widely circulated that the early Christians, including Church Fathers, believed in reincarnation. I have read claims to the effect that Origen taught reincarnation, and even that Jerome upheld the doctrine. Often these claims (on the internet) are not sourced at all. Sometimes they…

The 135th International Convention at Adyar will commence tomorrow. A
visit to the Adyar website gave me a surprise. Daily Bulletins in pdf
format for each day is indicated. So you can visit each day and see the
bulletin and know the highlights of the day. This is a small step in
providing info on the happenings on a daily basis. I hope, next year,
Adyar resorts to live streaming of the programs, which will bring
membership in closer contact…

Traditionally, in print media, an index is compiled and put at the end of the publication. Modern digitization technology has enabled every word in the pdf file to be indexed. This enables one to search for a word or words in the entire file, which is very powerful and handy for the reader.
All the Theosophist and Lucifer files in this site are searchable pdf files. The credit goes to Marc who took care of the processing after scanned file was available.
Use…
