Art Group on Theosophy.net
The possibility of forming an "Art Group" was raised in a discussion recently.
We need a couple people to manage it. Are any of our local Artists interested?

My personal preference is to include contemporary social and environmental themes and not remain confined to "occult" themes. I would suggest an art gallery kind of effort with different sections for painting, sculpting, photography, poetry and music etc. Members can exchange notes and comments etc.
Let us find a member who has a keen eye for appreciating the art and some contacts in those circles.

Im educated as a pianist but my main occupation since childhood and devotion of my life is composition. I think it is a wonderful idea with an art group. None of my compositions have been performed, and most of them would take up a substantial amount of time and effort to prepare, but I could upload a midi-file of some works.
