"ADEPTSHIP may be less a matter of having an extraordinary knack for doing extraordinary things in extraordinary ways . . . and more a matter of having at least an ordinary knack for not overdoing the ordinary things which only lead to more ordinariness in life."—General Theosophy

Katinka, in her blog, brought attention to the two theosophical books published in 2010; one by Joy Mills on ML and the other SD Commentaries.
It is a pity that neither is cheap and especially the Commentaries are very pricey and out of reach of most middle class theosophists especially in the third world.
The decision makers could have simply made an electronic edition available on Internet. All books, these days are first created in electronic media and then only it is…

2010 has proven itself an interesting year when it comes to new literature for the classic theosophy theosophist - aka the Blavatsky and Mahatmas fan.

G. de P. --Sometimes It is striking. And you can see the outline of a human face in the Moon. It is the pictures in the Astral Light which Nature reproduces in her physical handiwork. “Unlike the secrecy required in the middle ages, now all that is necessary to prevent your esoteric information from getting too much attention in the profane world . . . is simply to tell others that the insights you share are only based on your own Psycho-Spiritual authority rather than that of a Master, Spirit Guide, off-planet Messenger, or some arcane writing which has bafflingly survived on its slow deathbed for centuries or millennia. . .…

One of the greatest alchemists, in terms of how many students received their first great understanding of basic principles, is Basil Valentine. One could look up several of his works online. Anyway,, it is his name which brings up a very interesting relationship. Two of the great Gnostic fathers are Basilides and Valentinus. We know from fairly decent research that some of the Gnostic sects were carriers of the esoteric tradition from the Chaldeans, from the Egyptians, from the Hebrews and…

For an analyses of the fiery whirlwind, vortex and orphic egg shape see the site below. It includes some insights into the works of AAB and HPB as well as quantum physics. The whirlwind is more then an artistic or poetic metaphor but an actual energy body or gateway built between different levels of spiritual reality or dimensions. This…

“If you don’t need to run, just walk; if you don’t need to walk, just stand; if you don’t need to stand, just sit; if you don’t need to sit, just lie down; if you don’t need to lie down, just get up and start running—but only if you need to.”—General Theosophy
