Note: Many of the numerical models which track and analyze complex weather phenomenon have a very early history.

My Dear Judge,

The President and Vice-president were Dr (Mrs.) Anna Kingsford and Mr. Edward Maitland respectively; and their contention was that the teachings…

ContinueThe Masters, The Way and The Learners
During 1883-5, TSR wrote two letters, to two different aspirants, and the reason for treating them together here is that they are focused to a student in the West and a student in the East with cultural and religious backgrounds incomparably different. Their purport is the same: To enthuse the student’s keen and exploring interest in the pursuit on Spiritual Path under the guidance of the philosophy and…

A virus which affects the DNS usage of your computer is potentially nasty. (DNS: Domain Name Server. translates names like theosophy.net into an actual address directing you to the site you want to visit).
The virus hijacks your DNS routing and you will get fake sites that may ask for names/passwords etc. (PayPal, credit card accounts, etc. - possibly).
The sites will look like the real ones, but they are not.
To check if you have been…

Students’ Preparation to Learn Occult Sciende
T Subba Row wrote his first letter to A P Sinnette on 7 May 1882. Series of letters ensued and finally it became evident to him that there could be possibly no establishment of studentship in terms of the accepted and well known canons of Occult Study. He had no choice but reporting back to the persons who wanted him to undertake this arduous task. He did not hide the fact that he was reluctant to…

Facts of Life
Dr N C Ramanujachary
Well know facts of life need to be stated again and again, on and on, for they are easily forgotten as they lack immediacy. One such is ‘we reap as we sow’
Life is full of choices and chances; no doubt, it is only one’s effort and merit that gives one anything. One can have the results of one’s own deeds, the three-fold: word, feeling and action. This is common knowledge but is eclipsed when…

Divine Knowledge
Madame Blavatsky once remarked that ‘to gain the divine knowledge by a system of coaching and cramming is the ideal of the average beginner in occult study’, but the originators of the Theosophical Society refused ‘to encourage such false hopes’. She further asserts, one-hundredth (of the members of the TS) only has the correct idea of adeptship and the path thereunto. ‘Of all thinkable undertakings that of trying for adeptship is the most…
