Yesseus Mazareus Yessedekeus: The Early Sethian Baptismal Rite

Thank you Puzzlesolver for that question.

The primary thing that popped up was in:  Sethian Gnosticism

with that in mind, I have to read more.

Obviously, one could Jesus of Nazareth in the name, but otherwise - I was lost. The Baptism angle threw me.

So it has to do with Baptism in Jesus's name (loosely) in a secret Sethian Gnostic rite.

Now, I have to get the Apocalypse of Adam to check that document out (I am sure I have it).

A good puzzle indeed.

Awesome John thanks for making a posting of this..  Just trying to figure out what and/or why they were trying to hide...

Ok so Sethian Gnosticism was a certain side of Christian Gnostics but wasn't all too Christian?  I see the term 'barbarized' form of Jesus also scattered about, I'm wondering if this "living water" they refer to is even all what it symbolically represents Jesus as a person or Living Water Jesus as a action force like 'spirit' or something else by form of baptism... why the nickname anyway hmmm.. yes indeed a puzzle!

I would expect living water to be holy water of some form...  may be way off.
