Theosophy.net's Blog Talk Radio is now World Wide Wisdom

We at Theosophy.net are carrying on an ancient if not archaic tradition, that was once (If memory serves), what HPB stated as four levels of initiation. Vis-à-vis: Neophyte; (theoretically a theoretical student). An Initiate; one who is initiated into the sacred mysteries. Hierophant or discloser of sacred learning. Until finally, the few who reach the level of Adept. While Perhaps, the English language is inadequate to explain Adept, other than perhaps proficient in a given area; we can look to its Latin roots and consider: adipisci 'obtain, attain'. To gauge a closer meaning, we should all infer what an initiate ought to attain to.

Remember though, Greece was ancient history to Rome, while Greece was the child in the riddle of the Sphinx. Again, if memory serves, HPB stated that the diffusion of religious wisdom brought out of India bore the ancient church of the Magi, vis-à-vis (Persia, Egypt, and Chaldea; with the Qabala growing up alongside the Chaldean Magi). Though doctrines, dogmas, and deities may change; principle is the basic truth on which all truths are founded. We have come full circle.

I have found extraordinary minds through Theosophy.net. I have also learned a lot. What astonished me though is what I took for granted, which was that, Theosophy was common knowledge, when Theosophy was not common knowledge, in the West anyway. However, it was always a pleasure to introduce it when I was a student and teacher in academia.

So in that sense perhaps; seeds were planted but is that really enough? So we talk amongst ourselves and share our experiences; thoughts; and anticipate the present and future relationship between Humanity and the Divine, while the big question looms: Do we have the responsibility, the desire, the obligation, to initiate the uninitiated; to raise the consciousness of individuals seeking, understanding, or pursuing, a greater relationship between Humanity and the Divine, and how would we do that?

Thanks to Joe Fulton's support and present day technology we are able to, and it is being proposed, that we could produce a radio talk show, without a radio station. This talk radio is called Blog Talk Radio and is actually a format with a host / co-host, with guests, and shows that are developed along theme lines. The show is produced on line while they engage others who call into the show.

The exciting part is that while guests are interviewed callers from around the world, via phone or Skype can call in with questions about Theosophy; the guest, or questions in general. Themes might range from Theosophy for Theosophists, (preaching to the choir), bringing Theosophy to academia, or bringing it to mainstream America, elsewhere, and everywhere. People would listen to the show from their computer rather than their radio.

Another exciting aspect of this production is multiple guests in a debate format. In this case the host would serve as moderator. As the theme of the show is generated; a panel of selected guests would provide insight or input. Following a discussion there would be a period of time wherein people would call in from their phone to ask questions; either in general or in specific response to a particular subject or point of view, book, or article. The same for one on one interviews.

      •    Lastly, as Theosophy.net and Heidi are building a presence on Facebook, it is important to realize that some of the benefits of this Blog Talk Radio Show are:

      •    Registering with Facebook
      •    Just use your phone
      •    A real broadcast
      •    Sharing our passion, expertise, cause, or pupose with the world.

          Engage a real time audience

Not necessarily a part of Theosophy or its culture

      •    Take live callers and have guests call in from around the globe.
      •    Continue to reach out and build our community
      •    Lastly, all the tools we need to syndicate and share this show, (not named as yet; please make suggestions).

Here's is some advance information on Theosophy.net having their own radio show. What is Blog Talk Radio? Please see attachment or go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/whatis.aspx  Please also visit or re-visit Discussion Forum> Rules of the Road & Introductory Comments. While donations aren't necessary, if you find that you like what is developing and would like to contribute please write Joe Fulton. Otherwise please write me with queries, questions, suggestions, and especially people who would like to be interviewed as Host and or Moderator, or guest, including panels for discussion and debate. I'm sure the latter will be easier once a schedule, format, and subjects are chosen. You can help with that. I'm at pjolalor@gmail.com

There's a lot to do. Once we have people in place we still need to produce a platform, schedule, Talk show themes; etc., etc., but there is plenty of time. I look forward to talking with you and thank you for your interest in this exciting new prospect. Namaste

This a wonderful labor, Peter; both a great idea in that it allows Theosophists to participate in a modern exploration and re-introduction of Theosophical concepts to our followers, but as a way to experience to a far greater degree that important aspect of [thinking.]  With your planned panels and discussions, greater depth and insight can be derived for the benefit of this new audience, and that other audience who could grow further through varied perspectives, such other audience being the already indoctrinated Theosophists.

I am what may be termed a "natural psychic," ... a clairvoyant medum and clairvoyant medical intuitive to be more precise, and I was drawn to Theosophy some very many years ago when trying to understand what to me were natural and innate abilities, most certainly not always pleasant - especially during youth.  There were no answers available, or easily so in that earlier age, but I did begin seeking answers after drifting through several religions once I was of the older, more aggressive age.  Still answers and validations were few as to why I saw the world differently.

I was able to see the Astral bodily forms of life on the "Other side," and above, angelic-like figures, and curiously, "Nature Spirits ... or Nature People as I call them.  This lead me to the foundational days of Theosophy and its literature where Harold Phelps (a founding member of the early Society) was an associate of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and an intent was made to help the Theosophical Society's first members, and hopefully the populas, SEE the aetheric forms of life, these very Nature People.  OKAY ... validation.  The intent of these two, as I understood it, was that if humans could learn to see these rather visible forms (such being actually IN the Physical Plane, simply above our standard level of observation), then they would UNDERSTAND our energetic consciousness constitution, and that such was quite possible, even likely in still Higher realms of consciousness.  With that foundation I went on to learn much about the angelic kingdom, to the apoint of clairvoyantly/clairaudiently experiencing it ... it was an easy jump to the Christianized Archangels, Theosophies Dhyani-Chohens.

Obscure, yet still present in the Secret Doctrine where passages that indicated our ability to perceive our own Higher Selves; though somewhat limited in its presentation, this too, became a repeatable, demonstrable, provable fact of our own Higher consciousness for me.

Not fully completing her task with Mr. Phelps, who was always reluctant to share an experience that I have found virtually everyone can learn, she stated she was leaving a guantlet to be picked up in some later generation.  I took up that challenge, and initiated hundreds if not thousands of lectures and demonstrations on the subjects around the country, and have written four books on this very real world of nature.  The success in teaching others through participation of other forms of life here in the physical, the Astral and in the Mental Plane has been almost Universal.  Theosophy gave me the confidence to let fear and the ego get out of my way, and to explore and develop techniques that allow we humans ways to jump across the limiting affects of our sub-conscious, and to use our eyes they way they were used in ancient, even prehistoric times.

So, for me Theosophy provided validation, encouragement and answers to questions that were submerged.  I would think almost everyone other there in the Theosophical world has their own story to tell, which would indicate that Theosophy is truely an Ancient Wisdom, one that we are innately seeking to make sense of our existence.  Transfer that out into the populas, and you see clearly that the timing of your Radio program in this information age can finally give Theosophy its catalyst to reach a vast body of potential initiates, or at least those who want a bit MORE information, a type that relates to their minds, senses and experiences.

Compliments on your bold endeavor.  Much success in bringing about this new medium for sharing the Ancient Wisdom.  Everyone will seek something new, all will have different perspectives, everywhere will be new interests and topics, ... but, what a wonderful format for connecting students with students a bit farther along the path.

Christian

Sounds like a Marketing problem if we don't know who are market is going to be.

Good Morning,

Don't worry, I was feeling the same but really who knows what to anticipate.

We have a schedule; and a name. World Wide Wisdom and a lot of learning to get if off the ground.

We'll have a lot to offer once we figure out when, what, and whom to offer it to.

Peter

Got it.  Grabbed the last one though, you'll need to restock Amazon right away ... once the Radio show airs, you'll basically be in the shipping business.  Ha.  Been there.

Replying to forum opening message/with special consideration of this passage: ...If memory serves, HPB stated that the diffusion of religious wisdom brought out of India bore the ancient church of the Magi, vis-à-vis (Persia, Egypt, and Chaldea; with the Qabala growing up alongside the Chaldean Magi). Though doctrines, dogmas, and deities may change; principle is the basic truth on which all truths are founded.

NOW that I've begun to catch up I see that name suggestions are no longer needed. However, I [was] working on one and will note ir here just for the record. I was focused on the above passage and considering today's MTV conditioned potential audience. Using words like Theosophy might seem stodgy.

I waa thinking a yet uninitiated audience might relate to a short but familiar and already accepted title like "OM"; an acronym for our greater purpose, "One Mind."

Glad World Wide Wisdom is on course, and in process.  No worries on the name I suggested, I already understood the format was established and my idea wouldn't be used.  I have found another home for "Om / One Mind," however,  and will be working on that project through my own resources, Network and Corporation(s).

I see you have some formalization on your intended market(s).  Marketing also includes the need and means to [reach] these people, and that end seems collectively complicated given the vast mix indicated.  What is the [run] of your program; daily or once a week; an hour or all-day, a set program format, or something that varies every segment(s)?  It sounds rather technical, or so otherwise intellectually eloquent that it might lend itself to transcription.

How is one to be made aware of the current and scheduled program(s), and your guest line-up?  If there is a transcription will it be on Theosophy.net?  Are there going to be subscriptions through Theosophy.net and emails to subscribers giving notice of programs they are interested in?  Is the audience going to be tracked in any way, since, I should imagine, your guests will want to know?  Are there going to be any of Joe’s famous Surveys to get input on programming?
