Thanks for the welcome. Lots to absorb and time is fleeting. But there is enough material here to keep me busy for a while. It's the things I haven't read yet that hold the most interest for me. Have a Happy New Year. Cheers
LOL, it is kind of an ongoing thing. I have it by my side at night, it always amaze me, every time .I read it first in Portuguese, when I was very young, I went first to Antroposophy of Rudolf Steiner, and then Blavastky, weird path, but that was the way I discovered her. When i moved to USA many moons ago, I bought the collection in English, and it has been my book near the bed for years. I go through it now by themes. I read it front to back three times completely, but now I go and study themes. I am always taking notes. Thank you for asking,
I can't understand why trend Macro keep doing this.
our website got hacked two years ago and we cleared up, deleted all the old contents and rebuild, but they never stop that. We have the Foundation site: http:humanityhealing.org. but this is our Spiritual activist outreach.
I can attest to the quality of the barbershops in Japan; one of the many things I'll miss upon my return to the States. I'm currently in Okinawa; there is a calming energy being around the Okinawan people, I find it soothing to live here.
There is an island off the coast the locals refer to as God's Island, it is indeed mystical as your son phrased it.
Hi Heidi! Greetings! I think that we have to transcend our dual-mind (our concepts) to properly realize Time as "absolute". Relative time is, indeed, an inspiration to live the life! It show us a Dynamic Universe (panta rei, as Heraclitus said) with the "his" own laws. "My" thesis is only an argument (among others) to understand and meditate, preparing "my-self" to the "Bar-do".
Thanks Heidi for the request of friendship. Michael Gomes was the loveliest person you can meet and soooooooooooo knowledgeable without an enormous ego. It was really worth going to it. I have not read the abridged version but will buy it and hopefully read it soon.
Thanks Heidi, for the friendship. I have just joined the network and it is so nicely set up and quite fun. Not easy to find local theosophists here. christopher
