At 5:04pm on February 23, 2011, Vinod Sharma said…: control over one'self and inability to control the environment means, to me, that the person is anyhow restraining himself from responding to the outer world(i.e.the environment ) supressing his inner urge or passion-and he feels that he has control over his self.it is a sort of compromise with the environment.Control of self in true sense means switching over of passions from (expectations, lust,anger,prejudices etc.etc.) to the basics of life like love,compassion,harmony,brotherhood etc..We have liberty of doing our duty only in a dedicated way and have to set aside the expectations,that way our innerself may be somewhat calm. I am learning experimenting and trying to do it.. more so behaviour of each individual depends on his samskaras of several lives plus habits and values he has developed in his present life so far.Iit is bound to vary from person to person as such expectations can not be fulfilled unless all of us are near to basics of life..I wish i am able to make you understand........
