Some Comments on - Reflections on an Ageless Wisdom: A Commentary on The Mahatma Letters to A. P. Sinnett.

This book by Joy Mills, who is well known in theosophical circles, is very welcome.

I have not read the book. It is not a cheap paperback . List price is US$39.95 and is out of reach of many interested theosophists (most of whom are not rich), especially in the third world countries.

While Quest books - an arm of Theosophical Society in the United States - has published it, one wonders why no one thought of making it also available in electronic form such as a pdf file since it would dramatically increase the number of people who are likely to access it and benefit from it.

When the TS was started, the Founders made it clear that theosophy is not for the select and elite, but it is for everyone. From what everyone has seen, the Society’s leaders’ mindset is still pre-Internet and with all the talk, is yet to leap into Internet age where information can be distributed almost at no cost.

Making publication like this available for free in electronic media, will both help spread of theosophical literature as well bring in new members into the organization, which is either frozen or shrinking outside India. I hope to see the book soon in electronic media for free download.
