"All waters are brooded over by Nârâyana, but every kind of water is not fit for drink. Similarly, though it is true that the Almighty dwells in every place, yet every place is not fit to be visited by man. As one kind of water may be used for washing our feet, another may serve the purpose of ablution, and others may be drunk, and others again may not be touched at all; so there are different kinds of places. We may approach some, we can enter into the inside of others, others we must avoid, even at a distance."
 -- RÂMAKRISHNA

These places being referred to, are not physical places. They appear to be places of the mind (perspectives). Fore different perspectives, even of the same place, yield different information. I cannot think of a physical place that is more harmful than the perspective that manifested it.

All perspectives are legit, they all exist within the realm of the possible, so the truth must incorporate all of them. If you consider the dualistic nature of our universe, then Half (a mirror image of the other) is of a complete opposite perspective.

In my opinion, Haven and hell do exist, we have the potential to experience either. It is our understanding of ourselves (perspective) that determines which.

Some interesting notes here:

If we choose to experience haven, we get to share that with others.

If we choose to experience hell, we do that alone and isolated (separate)

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, if you look close enough at those pavers, they all have our own name on them.

I would rather learn my lessons with the help of everyone, than suffer my worst fears alone. Thats a no brainer.

P.S. I can't pronounce half these names you cite, let alone who they were. The truth will set you free, but beware of my truth, for it binds you to me.

The "perspectives" would all be legit plus the unified approach (Ramakrishna - non-dualist i.e. Advaita Vedantist). Hence - I get lost on what you are saying.

Note: A Kali Yuga will have lots of nasty stuff around.
