Do remember that Radha heads the TOS in Adyar, so she's not saying to not do social work, just that it's not part of the TS work.

I took out of it that trying to find the inner truth in science and spirituality is the essence of theosophical work. That the TS exists for a reason and that it is not the easy superficial reasons that come to mind easily. I suspect she also means that we have to continue to do 'the masters' work.

I read what Radha said. I was wondering your thoughts on "What is Our Aim?" I got a lot of what our aim is not, and I got that we are supposed to be doing higher spiritual work, not so focused on social activism. I was left with the feeling that Theosophists should somehow "know" something that was written between the lines. What did you take from that article, Katinka?
