Thanks for your comment about my profile. Yes, "Sidhartha" is great and famous book, and I assign it to students in my world history class, but recently I came to appreciate more "Glass Bead Game" too for many reasons. A complicated book, which is not easy to read, yet with many layers of meaning.
:) Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I will be happy to participate in the discussions and will try to share with the community my knowledge...
This is a very helpful site for all who espouse the "Wisdom Teachings" regardless of their origins. I appreciate the invitation and your kind welcome. I may have misread the question in regard to research.I thought I was being asked of what use I could contribute to this endeavor. I am not a very savy tech person, and have no idea how to set up my page with all the options that can be used. Is there a quick tutorial on how to do so? If not perhap that would be a helpful thing for new people joining.Especially, for those who are not as computer literate as others and do well just getting their thoughts posted : )
Namaste,

Looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with The Theosophical Network
Thank you, Capt. Kumar, for kindly approving my membership. I shall certainly try to contribute to this group to the best of my ability and understanding. However, I hope to learn more from it. I would like to make a special mention of The Sanskrit Texts Archive page, which is indubitably a treasure trove for all lovers of early Indian culture and philosophy.
Thanks for your welcome. I have to say my language skills look better on paper than coming from my mouth. I'm involved in a number of initiatives outside mainstream Theosophy including a small publishing company called Nosegay Books (website up and running shortly) which publishes books on the Ageless Wisdom.
Hello Anand, Greetings and thankyou for your kind welcome, I am looking forward to getting more involved on this forum there looks like a lot of good discussions to go through on the various threads. Kind Regards, Perry
Thank you Mr. Kumar for the wonderful chat..It is an honor to get to know you..I am looking forword to learning from you aswell. :) Peace and Love to you and yours Always! J~
Thank you for your welcome. I too, am one of the 'curious' and find the content chimes with my interest in the 'search' for theosophia. I hope to make the occasional (rather than 'odd') comment. I have one 'hat' in which i am a Trustee of the Blavatsky Trust (here in the UK) and am an advocate of HPB/Masters teachings - poorly in the vein of Geoffrey Farthing, a founder Trustee, and another 'hat' in which I am a lodge secretary and a staunch defender of freedom of thought. I have constant arguments with myself!
I found this in some reading I was doing recently and remembered your great interest in time and timelessness. So I wanted to share it with you.
"Paradoxically, the more one's consciousness is located beyond the particulars of time, the more attentive one my be to them. Timelessness is neither inertia nor indifference. It is not a blurring of impressions of mortality, but an intense sharpening and heightening of perceptions relevant to learning and living and delivering one' dharma."
It is a deep dark secret. And I knew you were into Time. If the words themselves don't spark anything for you then just forget about it. I was just trying to be friendly.
Thank you for asking for our beginning friendship. I am a long time theosophist. I've been active with Altadena, with Adyar, and with those around Iyer. I am going my own way now, but with a genuine sense of love and gratitude to everyone/anyone who has explored and committed to these matrices of Wisdom. For me Taimni will always be important. Also D.K. Also, Iyer's work with interpreting spiritual/occult texts has been very helpful. I think he saw the importance of the Gospel of Thomas before most others. That we here are a community that can begin to ask questions again, with no ideology compelling the answer, is my deepest wish. Thank you again.
Hey, thanks for your friend request. I couldn't believe it at first when you and John Mead said I was the 1000th member of the site! Anyway, it looks like an active, adventurous place. Congrats to all.
i was surprised to get an invitation.Yesterday i found this side in the net-si i have to take a look to all. But just what i saw is yry sharing my interestes about esoteric schience, So-it would be nice to have a good talk about some toppics.

I have noticed that you are keeping current with earth changes. I am in the Pacific NW with a view of Mt. Rainier out my back window. I am feeling it is time to relocate.
My thought at present are with those in the Phillipines and the disaster cycle they are in.
I am highly empathic and have been feeling the energetic shifts. The recent EQ and volcanic activity tie in with Edgar Cayce's predictions as well as several others.
Hi "Captain" I remember you from another forum (or is this it?) from several or more years ago! I was looking for the forum attached to the US-thesosphy! Life took over so I got away from forums ....plus I felt there was far too much intellectualising which can make one as unbalanced as eating far too much food and becoming obese and ill.
Anyway, how have you been these past years, keeping well?
