What if there wasn't no time as we know it and all there is, is "NOW"! Now is the past present and future, all wrapped up in one. The past is gone the future has not come, yet all we have is Now! The word time to understand  means the measuring of something. The difference between something and call it time. It seems when we meditate we make time as we understand it stand still. We are in the ...Now! The now is not moving (it is). How can we stop time as we know it? We have been programmed to believe in the past present and future. But what if we morph yesterday and tomorrow into... "NOW"! We have stopped time as we know it.
We have a picture of the past and we create pictures of the future, but they are just pictures and memories. We only have...the now! I am mesmerized and beguiled by the clock. The moment I look at it I am wrapped up with time, the past the present and the future all in ones glance. But if I focus on the now, time is no more, I only have...the now no time just..."NOW"! There seems to be...no time passing in the spiritual realm but only in the material realm. If we create our own illusion we are in the now and outside of time as we know it. Proving there is a alternate universe with no time.  There's the material Earth with it's time. But our universe has not time.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could use meditation as a vehicle to better our mind and body to higher enlightenment's especially in mental health. Instead of prescriptions we could just meditate our problems away? Why couldn't we use meditation or affirm positive daydreaming as a relaxing  meditation instead? In the t.v series of Star Trek they had a holodeck or virtual reality room. Could someone come up with a therapy room with comfortable recliners with earphones for soothing music, a type of room where one could meditate and relax to sooth there stress? I seem to be ranting again. I am aware of the negative effect of my idea as well. Paul
