the following quote struck me as interesting:

The earth is enjoyed by heroes, this is the unfailing truth. Be a hero. Always say, I have no fear.

-- Vivekananda

The above has two words that require definitions. Hero and Fear.

Having no Fear seems to imply that one has no attachments and is in a state where the absolute is very much present in one's awareness. A "hero" is one without "fear." How many of us can claim this? I believe it is a very small fraction of theosophists. It is very hard to achieve this state.

also, what does the following mean? "The earth is enjoyed by heroes"

just some thoughts and questions.
