How can man be divine
Tags:
John 14:12
John,
I know nothing about the word latent except it's meaning. Biblically if one is saved God gives gifts to them, too use in his name. Mortal and non believing man does not have these powers of God, but they can be from Satan to the unsaved (interpretation mine). Satan wanted to be divine as God was divine and that was a sin (interpretation mine). According to the KJV bible, we are predestined to be saved by John 3:16. Satan's plus Adam and Eve sin condemned us to sin. We were created perfect before Adam and Eve and Satan sinned. I therefore submit we are (if saved) servants of God forgiven and perfect in his grace. Thoughts please? Paul
The quote from John 14:12 is one of the most famous ones.
That is why I mentioned it. Whether it means what it says, I do not know.
1X3=3
Jessica,
1x3=3 this is true. But how does that relate to how man can be divine? Paul
Paul.
IMHO, human's can be divine through loving themselves thus to pour forth their soul-energy unto others from what has been built up inside. Love is the energy of God.
1) love-self
2) send love to others
3) accept divine love
Jessica,
Correct. Love is of a divine God. Only he is divine. We are his servents ceated to serve him in love. 123 absolutly yes. Paul
