HPB should say: For everyone there is a way into insight, not important how you find and through what.
I think all have their lightpoints, Krishnamurti,Gibran,Osho,Bailey, Roerich or HPB.
Some people experiences HPB as difficult and others Bailey and a lot have nothing with both.So it is up to us what bring us the entlightment, possibly a simple yoga teacher , all is possible.
I wanted to show you the work others have done in the case of HPB and Bailey.
Thanks for that Christina, I do find it interesting. At one stage I studied a bit of astrology with a lady who ran an esoteric psychology school based upon a lot of Alice Bailey's teachings. Then I was with a couple of people in a hidden corner of our local TS Library when her books were found and a comment was made that they should have been taken off the shelf! I got the idea that some theosophists were skeptical of the contents. I'll check out the article that you recommend. Cheers.
Hi Janelle, only the ones have been in the esoteric school from HPB can give the best vision, for Alice had been a member of that.
As far as I know is that AAB 's teacher was the pupil of master KH named Dwual Kuhl, the Tibetan as mentioned in her books.
The difference between HPB and AAB is that the first does not believe in a coming back of any Christ, but make clear that Christ consciousness is the way to the higher self.
If you are interested there is an article about both what they have in common. to be found on http://theosophical,info
Cleather, Alice Leighton and Crump, Basil. The Pseudo-Occultism of Mrs. A. Bailey, it is a pity but they take it out of this on line articles. If you are interested I can find it on my other hard disk .
I understand that there was a falling out between Alice Bailey and the TS? I thought it had something to do with a disagreement between where she claimed to have got her info and where those at the TS believed she got her info? Can someone enlighten me on that?
much appreciated.
Janelle :-)
