Plants can sense human intentions

This is a video of Cleve Baxter, a polygraph scientist who did the controversial experiment with plants and animal cells.

And that was when something happened that forever changed Baxter's life and ours. For the plant didn't wait for him to light the match. It reacted to his thoughts!

Wow, thanks Martin! This is excellent, esp in light of the Blavatsky comment about plant consciousness and prototypes:

"...every plant has an intelligence, or its own purpose of life, so to speak, and its own freewill, to a degree. This is how I,at any rate, understand it. A plant can be receptive or non-receptive, though every plant without an exception feels and has a consciousness of its own."

Nice video, Odin!

For the scientific enquiring mind I would like to point out the fascinating research on plants by:

František Baluška
Stefano Mancuso
Dieter Volkmann (Eds.)
Communication in Plants: Neuronal Aspects of Plant Life (2006)
ISBN-10 3-540-28475-3 Springer Berlin Heidelberg New York
ISBN-13 978-3-540-28475-8 Springer Berlin Heidelberg New York

Baluska and others see the plant as displaying intelligence in its behaviour.
Hence they looked for a kind of proto-nervous system (especially in the roots).
This has been a neglected field in biology for a very long time.
