I recently viewed an hour video biography of H.P.B. by Gary Lachman, which was lively, interesting, but a mix of fact and fantasy and mystery in some superficial combination. I appreciate his high drama which introduces many to H.P.B. But one comment he made was particularly puzzling to me: that the genius in question might have been a multiple personality disorder, mildly so. Wow! I never heard that one before. It amazes me that such profundity and vast encompassing and ethical call to compassionate action could be a multiple personality disorder. It seems impossible to me, but what do you think?
