Here's an interesting little presentation on how using analytics tools shape our thoughts. Having worked with some of these types of tools, it's easy to see how the choice of tool affects the decision.
Now, to bring that into some kind of relevance with what we do daily, how do the tools we use (TV, radio, a particular computer program) affect how we view things? Sometimes the medium colors the message and sometimes it is the message.
How does this relate to "wisdom"? Well, if we are constantly bombarded by messaging from "outside" how do we make sure that the inside is calm and discerning enough to separate the wheat from the chaff? What "tools" do we use to come to a/the truth of a matter?
