THE GREAT INVOCATION

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ(*)  return to Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men ―
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the center which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out.
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Please excuse me, I don't have right now the time to write properly.

(*) The word "Christ" is to be used by people who come from a Christian background or feel comfortable with it. Other people may use "Maitreya Buddha" if they come from a Buddhist background, "Kalki Avatara" if it is Hinduist, "Imam al-Mahdi" if it is Muslim, etc. ; and those who are not comfortable with religious terms may use the words "World Teacher", which may be the best ones.

The Great Invocation was given in 1945 in Alice A. Bailey books, which are considered by some (including me) as the continuation of HPB's work.
Saying it aloud (or internally, as you may prefer) with a clear and clean service intention makes an energetic link with the Hierarchy of the Masters of Wisdom (I prefer to call them simply brothers) and humanity. Energy passes through the etheric body of the practitioner to where it is needed automatically as long as he or she holds attention on the point between the eyebrows, also known as ajna chakra. When attention drops, one should think "OM" to focus again. This can be done for one minute or for one or more hours, but please be careful!!! There is danger of over-stimulation.
This practice is an esoterical service to those who are at need. I've been doing it for more than 10 years and don't feel tired but refreshed with every practice session. It's the simplest way I know to receive really high quality energies. To be continued... :-)
This Invocation is a translation from Senzar, too. The Adepts have been using it in its original language for a long time.
The word "God" is used because is a short word. Everyone can have his/her own idea of what (impersonal) or who (personal) "God" may be... that means no problem at all. In a practical sense we can think that "God" is refered to the Planet we live in and to the Sun that gives energy to this planet.
We humans are to be co-workers in planetary evolution. Some of us already are -the Adepts- many more are learning - the disciples.
Have a nice day, everyone!!!

 :-)

 That's good news!!! :-)
