Although I don't know whether this qualifies as a "life-hack",  I find the following psychological angle on life worthwhile to pass on (put in second person form to make it more personal and direct):

How you see a situation determines the value you put in your reaction.

If you see beauty in others, you will think and behave differently than when you see ugliness.
It will pay off abundantly to learn to see the many different aspects of a situation.
Make it a daily practice. It will enhance your flexibility of mind greatly.

Example: is there a problem or is there an opportunity to grow?

Every day brings a new opportunity:
. to learn something
. to give some love to this world
. to see beauty where others may only see ugliness
. to develop flexibility of mind
. to learn patience
