Mind Control Gaming Devices - A Security Risk
Although I have thought about this as a possibility, there was recently a story where researchers were able to glean credit card data directly from the minds of gamers having random thoughts as they played.
I imagine that the hardest problem with upcoming generations of brain-mind interfaces is going to be the inability to filter "random" thoughts, such as a man and woman sitting together while some hunk or siren walks down the street outside. It will be a case of telepathy being our greatest blessing and worst nightmare all at once. I don't know about you but there are thoughts I don't want others to hear in a crowded room.
The implications for "spirituality" are tremendous. One will have their guru on their phone, there to monitor every brainwave and attendant thought.
Gee, I wonder what other surprises will be at hand?

Good one there , brain-mind interfaces as you have mentioned would definitely lead to strange situations , but this is on the physical plane as there would be an instrument to "read'' or interface with the brain . Mind is a different thing altogether and subtler than the brain , brain is organic as with the body and liable to destruction . As for the mind it is a more simple mechanism and cannot be interfaced by any piece of equipment scientific or otherwise . Mostly scientists everywhere relate the mind to thoughts and an ability by instruments to record their impact on various parts of the brain which are known to be centers of activity. But the mind per se would not lend itself to any kind of experimentation by a third party or instrument .
It is an immutable law that only a subtler thing can perceive a grosser object .We observe so many objects in our daily life it is because we are of a nature that is subtler than that of the object that we perceive - for instance a tree a mountain, a chair or another person or persons , in all cases we understand that we are of a type subtler than physical appearances
Seeing the body of another person is just akin to seeing any other object (Interacting is another matter ). In the case of the mind it can be observed or known by something that is subtler than it only - never by anything which is more insentient . And it is the owner of the mind that is subtler than his own mind - and the direct consciousness of the owner of the mind lies with him and not with another , and so it is himself that is/or will be able to observe it. Every different level of metaphysical existence have their own rules of navigating through them and living in them - but they do not preclude ones living on a lower level of consciousness as every higher level of consciousness 'Controls' the lower level of existence.
The mind is only one at its level - just as we have one world - there is only one mind essentially and there are only 5 modifications inherent in the mind -(just as we have air, water, fire, earth and space ) and they are smell,taste, touch.sound and forms. These 5 items are subtler than their corresponding organs which have physical manifestations on each of us individually .........
