GOVERNING BODY – DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PRESIDENT

1. The President shall chair all meetings of the governing body.
2. The President shall finalize the agenda for every meeting and ensure that the same is circulated through the secretary to every member. Posting of the agenda on the designated space on the website shall be considered as circulated.
3. The President shall, in consultation with the governing body, constitute and dissolve the various committees and groups as and when required.
4. The President shall be entitled to seek progress reports from the heads/team leaders of the various committees.
5. The President shall guide, advise, help and provide other inputs as and when required from the other members in discharging their functions.
6. The President shall be joint authorized signatory for any bank account that the Theosophical Network owns and operates.
7. The President shall present the budgets for the various expenditures to the Governing Body for approval.  

1. VICE-PRESIDENT

1. The Vice-President shall officiate as President during his absence.
2. The Vice-President shall be the third designated authorized signatory for operating the bank account whenever the President is not available.

1. SECRETARY

1. The Secretary shall keep a record of all meetings and voting if any.
2. The Secretary shall make all correspondence on behalf of the Theosophical Network governing body, upon approval of the President.
3. The Secretary shall, upon receiving instructions from the President, circulate the venue, agenda and the timing of the meetings of the governing body.
4. The Secretary shall assist the President as and when required by the President.

1. TREASURER

1. The Treasurer shall keep an accurate record of all incomes and expenditures of the Theosophical Network.
2. The Treasurer shall prepare the budget for various activities of The Theosophical Network, upon receiving instructions from the President.
3. The Treasurer shall be the joint signatory of any bank account owned and operated by The Theosophical Network.
4. The Treasurer shall arrange to disburse funds as and when approved by the Governing Body for various activities of The Theosophical Network.
