In another theosophical community, today a document was posted which turned out to be adulterated and a member stated "this only shows either your dishonesty or that of the one that gave you the information."

The key issue in this case is the identity of the poster. Many suspected that it is someone who was masquerading under a different name and as such can say or post anything and get away with it. In view of this, one wonders if we need to demand identity of the members before joining the community.
