Wisdom in Daily Life

Spirituality is not all about communing with holy beings, or having the perfect guru or teacher.  It is about seeking deep connections with reality and making for a better world, for yourself and all around you.

Regardless of the belief we advertise most of us have the same needs.  We eat, sleep, have friends, and many of us have some kind of job.  Put all of these together and we have more than enough challenge in life.

We would like to hear about how you cope and bring a lot of the ideas we explore here into your life.  And there is the added bonus of all of us getting to know each other as people with all of our foibles, desires (don't deny that you have those!) and all the other interesting snippets of daily life.

Meditation

Just about every spiritual practice has some kind of meditation or prayer involved.  It can be a really personal thing, but for those who want to share their experiences, please feel free and feel comfortable.

    Hi Joe,

I am studying upon meditations right now as a focused gernalized project for 21 days right now! I am learning so much about meditation and am already noticing evidence of being able to not only concentrate for the better, but I am able to create music and some writings in a more easier way. It is just more easier for me to articulate my feelings which had been hard for me since I had first started the project. I find that by praying before mediation and then praying after the mediation is done I am able to be at peace in ways I can put aside my worries even more and as best that I can. Do you mediate likewise by any chance too?
