I am only 17 and i spend most of my time trying to figure out my beliefs. Ive researched alot but ive never found anything that is close to how i feel about life. I started thinking alot and writing down everything that came to me naturally before i even started researching any type of philosophical ideas. The weird part is there was nothing that influenced me to start wondering about this stuff ive never even really heard of it till i started researching so i thought i was just strange. I wanted to see if mabye someone was interested in listening to my thoughts and mabye let me know if im completly insane or something i could use some insight.
Thanks

A period of search and self examination is in my view an essential phase for thoughtful people to go through and it's not "insanity" because the questions are there and you have begun the journey..

:) I agree with Mark: at 17 most people are insecure & it's just honest to own it. I think on this site you can just throw your ideas out there and we'll tell you what we think about them. Go right ahead :)

No, its a special sign of _sanity_ instead of insanity, and more people are uptight than you think, espcially at your age. It just takes time to get some answers for yourself.
