Many people wonder why there is such skepticism of scientific claims.  It's simple, many have been generated with the Power of the Schwartz in mind.

Of course, the Power of the Schwartz is a reference to the movie Spaceballs, where the hero is advised that the primary force in the universe is marketing.  In the case of scientific endeavor there is the temptation to sensationalize which has unintended consequences.

having read the library here. i find that even Theosophy has taken to a form liken religion. that may not be popular around here but it is an objective view by an awake observer new to the concept.

 

sensationalism archetype is in its desire for empowerment from the point of perceptional bias. "Desire is the estabishment of self though vectors created in emotional sensory to validate perceptional bias."

 

man can make a religion out of anything. why not science?

 

 

i arrived at enlightenment through a series of "deaths" (NDE?!) 9 to be exact. this being my 10th round... here, i can relate to the cat cartoon you speak of. 

 i have no PHD and no title. just a thought here in the now. both a constant. thought and now.

I find this place quite interesting. some i am still learning. some i know of what is presented here on this forum, i seen there,  the other side of life, that is being transpired here in the now at this place. "theosophy.net."

where there, the other side of life, i saw "this" familiarity.
