I have been reading the work of Dion Fortune and I find it interesting becuase it is "applied theosophy". I have not read all of her books so I cannot comment on the accuracy of her entire material. Any thoughts and opinions on her teachings?

Some might find helpful her The Training and Work of an Initiate (London: Rider and Co) It is complementary to her The Esoteric Orders and their Work.

Thank you, it is on my reading list. I am now reading "applied magic"... Has anyone taken the unsupervised course by the society of the inner light?

The Cosmic Doctrine by Dion Fortune is a compelling book. Its cosmogony is amazing in concept. More on Dion Fortune can be found here.

that's the book I just finished reading! I really liked it, I only wished she would give more info on self-defence at the end of each chapter.  Has anyone read Training and work of an Initiate?
