Why do two or more people have doubts when they study Theosophy or the bible? I now see the hidden meanings within the bible and are drawn to Theosophy with their past theosophers. Have I always been drawn to these hidden enlightments by God, it is my hope I have been. I see two powerful enities, namely God and satan and that alone explains all the questions to me. I see valid truth and (invalid truths to confuse bewillered and bring on doubt and questions to infer wrongly).

I do not want to be naive to any valid truth, but totally and absolutely convinced without a shadow of a doubtit's a valid truth. But I also see the valid truth as concrete belief as to die for spiritually given purposes, which to me is Truth without any compromise any inferences or questions. Does any mystery have to stay a mystery, and why is it a mystery in the first place? If there has to be a postive then there has to be a negative, a truth a lie, white black, good bad, material a spiritual.

Why do we who believe see Gods creations, the sun, moon, Earth and nature and all in it and others still can't or won't? Paul

probably "yes." In any case - the journey has started and is manifest openly in your mind. that is very good.

the part " Truth without any compromise any inferences or questions" can be a dangerous trap.  if you think you have grasped Truth, it is likely a small type of truth The more you know, the more you are aware of what you do not know. It is weird. See the video PuzzleSolver put up. ("Pursuit of ignorance" discussion)

I have found that the mind must always be flexible. Today's belief is tomorrow's shackles on many an occasion. I have had revelation from within which immediately altered my world view (theosophically). William John Meegan also has described that he went through this also. One should never quit the search.

You had an experience that also caused you to reevaluate your spirituality (the awakening in the Mall you mentioned at one time).

The person already "knows", and sees no reason to look deeper.  i.e. Wrong Belief.  Tough question to answer.

"Knowing" that you actually "Know" something is the first step to not knowing. That sounds a bit Zen -- but it can really help to go back and rethink what beliefs you hold to be true. They likely have assumptions that are possibly false. Probably once a year (minimum) - I say to my wife: "You know, I need a new theory of reality..."

That precedes a likely obsession, compulsion, where I do nothing but slowly build up a couple stacks of books by the bed, for a few weeks of chaotic late night reading...    It is when the Sphinx gives you a riddle, and the Sphinx does not know the answer either.

Cats are not bothered by these things.  <G>

Great questions. answers are few.
