Adyar TS Convention Bulletin - Dec 28, 2010 (Third Day)

The eight page bulletin for third day of the convention is on the Adyar website.

The attendance at the convention is 1,200 plus, which is a welcome news.

There are summaries of talks by:

Dianne Kynaston
M P Singhal
Avantika Mehta

In addition, there are summaries of activities in many of the European Countries. What is striking for anyone who has been in India, is how minuscule the membership in many of these countries.

Many of the lodges in India, such as the one in Bangalore, have  more members than in many of these countries. This points to the fact that a lot of work is yet to be done to spread theosophy in the West. Also considering the fact that India has 12,000 plus members, confirms the foresight of the inner Founders’ to move TS to India.

Bulletin has a summary of the Christmas celebration at Adyar and about the activities of the very popular Besant Memorial Animal Dispensary, which has treated a lot of birds and animals.

You will enjoy the content of the Bulletin which can be accessed at Bulletin 3,

The actual count of delegates registered is 1,417 and not 1,200 as stated. Sorry for the error.
