My friends,

A question. If the sages of old knew any truth or truths, why didn't they share them with those they trusted (there are many private groups with there own personal truths like the Masons) ? Why would they (the sages of that day who believed) hide there truth? I can understand the false sages would use and abuse that truth for their false ideas. I have heard the bible has hidden truth in it's text and by some code. I still to this day interpret literally each word.

That word (interpret) has caused me great doubt. To hear a truth and believe that truth are totally two different actions. I believe what I read unless some word or related story signifies different from the original. The word esoteric also states hidden truths. Philosophically the paraphrase "What is truth", could be a individual question or a worldly question. I am beginning to understand arranging words from one meaning to other can change a sentences main meaning to a ambiguous meaning.

I am becoming suspicious of reading anything I have to interpret. I will share my beliefs with anyone who wants to hear them, but not with those with a close mind. Mysteries are beginning to put me at odds with them. I am going to change my belief as to searching for truth through knowledge, for it has to many mysteries. The words common sense, logic and rational reasoning seem to have lost their favor with me because those too can be misunderstood by the reader. Thoughts please? Paul

hi

Most things said these past couple centuries are not specifically embedded with double (additional hidden) meanings.

The "Parables of Grace" is a good book to help understand Jesus (just an e.g.). Back then it was rather common. Those who have had ears would understand. That means to basically hear what is said and interpret what the meaning is.
